Technical inspection of buildings and structures is carried out to determine the actual condition of structural elements, identify defects, and establish the causes of their occurrence. Why Cracks Appear in Buildings

A crack in a wall or foundation is not always merely a cosmetic defect. Causes may include uneven soil settlement, violations of construction technology, structural overloading, reconstruction errors, absence or damage of waterproofing, moisture exposure, reinforcement corrosion, or the natural aging of materials.

It is difficult to independently determine the level of danger associated with such defects. That is why a technical inspection of building defects must be performed by a qualified engineer with relevant expertise.

  1. Analysis of available documentation: technical passport, design documentation, certificates, previous reports.
  2. Visual inspection of structures and documentation of defects.

  4. Determination of the causes of damage.
  5. Assessment of the technical condition of structures.
  6. Preparation of a technical report with recommendations for repair, strengthening, or further operation.
