Report on the technical inspection of building structures and utility networks
A report on the technical inspection of building structures, engineering networks and premises of social or non-residential buildings is an official document containing a comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of the object. Its purpose is to determine the level of deterioration, identify defects and damage, and develop recommendations for eliminating the identified problems.
The inspection is carried out in accordance with DBN B.1.2-14:2018 “System of ensuring the reliability and safety of buildings and structures. General principles of inspection and assessment of technical condition”.
When is such a report required?
A technical inspection is required in the following cases:

- When changing the intended purpose of the building – for example, if non-residential premises are to be converted into residential or commercial ones.
- Before buying or selling a real estate object – to determine its real technical condition and value.
- In the event of a building’s emergency condition, to determine the causes of destruction and the possibility of further operation.
- To obtain permits, for example, to legalize unauthorized construction or to operate social service centers.
