Extract from the SLC

An extract from the State Land Cadastre (SLC) is an official document that contains information about a land plot registered in the SLC, including its location, purpose, area, cadastral number and other important characteristics. This document is mandatory for any legal actions with land, such as sale and purchase, lease, change of designated purpose, etc.

What is the State Land Cadastre?

The State Land Cadastre (SLC) is a system of information about land in Ukraine, which records information about all land plots, their boundaries, sizes, owners and users. The SLC ensures transparency of land relations and protects the rights of land owners and users.

Contents of the extract from the SLC

The extract from the SLC contains:

  • Cadastral number of the plot;
  • Location;
  • Area;

How to obtain an extract from the State Land Register?

In order to obtain an extract from the SLC, you need to:

  1. Submit an application to the territorial body of the StateGeoCadastre or to the ASC (Administrative Service Center) indicating the cadastral number of the land plot.
  2. Pay an administrative fee – the cost of the service depends on the current tariffs at the time of application.
  3. Receive the extract within a specified period of time. Usually, the extract is issued within a few business days.

You can also obtain an extract from the SLC electronically through online services, for example, on the Public Cadastral Map. This significantly speeds up the process and allows you to obtain information without having to visit the authority in person.

The administrative fee for issuing an extract from the SLC is set in accordance with the current tariffs, and the timeframe for issuing an extract can vary from several hours to several days. Legal aspects of obtaining an extract

Obtaining an extract from the SLC is regulated by the Law of Ukraine “On the State Land Cadastre” and the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine establishing the procedure for registering land plots and providing information from the cadastre. In addition, the data from the SLC is used in the development of urban planning documentation in accordance with the DBN B.1.1-14:2012 “Composition and Content of a Detailed Territory Plan”, which is important for developers.
