Customer service
The client’s service is an organizational structure that performs the functions of managing and controlling the implementation of construction projects on behalf of the client (project owner). In Ukraine, the customer service is an integral part of the construction process, ensuring that design solutions and construction and installation works comply with the requirements of the law, state construction standards (DBN), as well as the interests of the customer.
The main functions of the customer service:
- Preparation of the terms of reference. The customer service prepares and agrees on the design specification, which is the main document that defines the requirements for construction.
- Design control. Responsible for monitoring the development of project documentation, checking its compliance with current DBN and other regulations.
- Registration of permits. The customer service ensures that all necessary permits are obtained to start construction, including a permit to perform construction work.
- Construction management. During the construction phase, the client’s service provides technical supervision of construction and installation works, controls the timing and quality of work performed by contractors.
- Acceptance of the facility into operation. Upon completion of construction, the client’s service organizes the process of commissioning the facility, including the state commission and obtaining the relevant acts.

- The Law of Ukraine “On Architectural Activity” defines the principles of activity in the field of architectural planning and construction.
