Preparation and drafting of construction-related agreements<\/h2>\r\n

Construction activities<\/strong> are a complex process that involves many stages: from design to commissioning. All of these stages require clearly defined contractual relations that regulate the rights and obligations of the parties, terms, costs and liability.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Types of contracts in construction<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

Depending on the specifics of the project, the following main types of contracts are distinguished:<\/p>\r\n

  1. Construction contract<\/strong> This contract regulates the relationship between the client and the contractor, defines the scope of work, its cost, terms of performance, and the procedure for acceptance of work. Pursuant to Articles 837-864 of the Civil Code of Ukraine (CCU), the basis of such agreements is the transfer of work results from the contractor to the client.<\/li>\r\n
  2. Design and survey contract<\/strong> According to the DBN A.2.2-3:2014, this contract provides for the development of design documentation or survey work for future construction.<\/li>\r\n
  3. General contractoragreement<\/strong> The general contractor organizes and manages the overall construction process, engaging subcontractors to perform certain works.<\/li>\r\n
  4. Construction equipment lease agreement<\/strong> Regulates the terms and conditions of the transfer of equipment for use for a certain period of time with responsibility for its condition.<\/li>\r\n
  5. Construction Materials Supply Agreement<\/strong> Sets out the terms and quality of materials supply, their compliance with standards and certificates.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
