The procedure includes the following steps:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Preparation of a statement of claim.<\/strong> The person claiming ownership must file a statement of claim with the court, which must contain all the circumstances confirming bona fide, open and continuous possession of the property for the required period.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Providing evidence.<\/strong> The court must be provided with evidence of actual possession of the property. This may include witness statements, documents confirming payment of utilities, property maintenance, etc.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Consideration of the case by the court.<\/strong> The court considers all the evidence provided, hears the parties and makes a decision on the recognition of ownership by acquisitive prescription.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Decision-making by the court.<\/strong> If the court finds that all the conditions of the statute of limitations are met, it decides to recognize the ownership of the property by way of the statute of limitations. The decision can then be registered in the State Register of Rights to Real Estate.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Conclusion.<\/h2>\r\n<p>Recognition of property rights by acquisitive prescription is an important legal tool that allows individuals to legalize their rights to property they have owned for a long time.
