Registering ownership of a house in Ukraine<\/h2>\r\n

Registering the ownership of a house is a mandatory legal process that confirms the owner’s legal rights to real estate. Without proper registration, it is impossible to carry out transactions with the house, such as sale, gift or inheritance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

1. Ways to acquire ownership of a house<\/h2>\r\n

Ownership of a residential building may arise as a result of:<\/p>\r\n

  1. Construction of a new building<\/strong> – if the owner has built a residential building, it must go through the commissioning procedure in accordance with the State Building Regulations and then register the ownership.<\/li>\r\n
  2. Purchase of real estate<\/strong> – ownership is transferred after signing a notarized sale and purchase agreement and its state registration.<\/li>\r\n
  3. Receiving a house as an inheritance or a gift<\/strong> – the title is formalized on the basis of a certificate of inheritance or a gift agreement.<\/li>\r\n
  4. Privatization<\/strong> – if the house was state or municipal property, it can be privatized in accordance with the applicable law.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
