The main steps to be taken are summarized below.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-roseta-button pwmblock button\"><a id=\"\" class=\"orange-btn advice-btn linkbtn btn _modal-btn banner-form-btn\" href=\"#\" data-modal=\"banner-form-btn\">Divide the land<\/a><\/div>\r\n\r\n<h2>The most common reasons for dividing a land plot are as follows:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>there is a building or structure on the land plot that the co-owners want to divide;<\/li>\r\n<li>the land plot is owned by several co-owners who want to divide it among themselves;<\/li>\r\n<li>it is easier to sell several smaller land plots than one large one;<\/li>\r\n<li>for building houses or cottages;<\/li>\r\n<li>to change the intended purpose of one of the plots, when one of the plots is retained in ownership and the other, obtained as a<\/li>\r\n<li>result of the division, is alienated.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Documents required for the division of a land plot:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Notarized application of the owner for the division of the land plot. After the technical documentation is developed, the StateGeoCadastre registers the land plots created as a result of the division in the SLC, and each of them is assigned a cadastral number, which is confirmed by extracts from the SLC.<\/p>\r\n<p>The final stage of land division is the registration of ownership of the newly formed land plots in the State Register.<\/p>\r\n<h2>When can a land plot not be divided?<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The land is mortgaged and the mortgagee has not agreed to the division; <\/li>\r\n<li>After dividing the land plot, it is impossible to provide access to each of
